Science Trail
1. Differences between Flowering and
Non-flowering Plants
Non-flowering plants are plants
that do not reproduce from seeds. Non-flowering plants reproduce from spores. Fern
is an example of non-flowering plant.

Task 1:
- Take a photograph of 2 different types of ferns found in the Science garden.
- Label the spore bags and spores (found underneath the leaves of the fern).

Refer to the pictures below. Flowers can
either be growing singly or in cluster.
